Meet Our Staff
Rachel Chenier, PA-C
Rachel is a Physician Assistant here at Amaka Aesthetics. Rachel grew up in Franklin, TN, and attended the University of Tennessee for college. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Samford University in Birmingham, where she excelled in her courses and rotations, and received the Outstanding Character Award for her graduating class.
She began her career in plastic surgery immediately after graduation in Florida. She received formal training in surgery and injectables. She completed courses through Allergan Medical Institute, Galderma, and Revance. She continues to seek further training at weekend seminars and master injector courses. She strives to stay at the forefront of new advances and procedures in neurotoxins and dermal fillers.
She takes pride in the time she spends with patients to give her expert opinion during full face consultations, as well as make sure the patient’s desires are understood. Rachel will also be found working with skin care, and multiple vaginal rejuvenation modalities including V-Tone, Forma V and Morpheus8.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Rachel enjoying time with her husband, Jared. She and Jared love to travel, hike, and be immersed in new cultures. If you’re local, you’ll catch her constantly trying new restaurants, working out, and visiting with friends and family on a Friday night. She looks forward to meeting you!
Lisa McNeil, Registered Nurse
Lisa McNeil is a Registered Nurse as well as a Surgical First Assistant at Amaka Aesthetics. Lisa began her journey in healthcare over 21 years ago as a surgical technologist. She then went on to become a first assistant, and then registered nurse, inspired by her mom who is a nurse. She has been a nurse for 4 years and has worked with Dr. Amaka for 2 years. You will see Lisa both in the clinic, where she sees patients on office days, and also in the operating room where she assists Dr. Amaka in Surgeries.
Lisa loves her patients. When she is caring for a patient, she treats them with the same respect and compassion as she would her family. She loves the technical challenge that surgery presents as well as the tenderness and care she can share with patients in the office setting. One of her favorite aspects is seeing patients throughout their journey, from the consult to the procedure and the recovery period.
Lisa enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening, reading, watching reality tv, and spending quality time with her family.
Ty-Lin Perez, Registered Nurse
Ty-Lin is a registered nurse at Amaka Aesthetics who works in both the clinic and the operating room. She is originally from Miami, Florida and she is Cuban Puerto Rican. She graduated from Chamberlain University with her Bachelors in Nursing. Her past specialties have been Medical Surgical, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, PACU, and Operating Room. She has also had some experience in Emergency Room as well.
There are several things she loves about being a nurse including being there for people at their hardest and lowest times. At those moments she feels people really need to feel the most love and care to get them through. She feels truly blessed to be able to be that for patients.
At Amaka Aesthetics, you will see her both in the office setting before and after surgery and in the operating room on your surgery day where she has a role in getting you ready for surgery and caring for you in the recovery center afterwards.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her two dogs Simon and Cheddar, try new restaurants, enjoy the gym, and discover new places to visit/vacation.
Madison Swiderek, Registered Nurse
Madison “Madi” Swiderek is a Registered Nurse at Amaka Aesthetics. Madison is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and has been a registered nurse since 2017, obtaining her degree from Nashville State. She came to Amaka Aesthetics from Vanderbilt, where she worked in the Intensive Care Unit. Madison loves taking care of patients along every step of the way from the consult to after surgery. You will see Madi in the clinic where she will walk alongside you throughout your journey. One of her favorite aspects of nursing is patient empowerment. She loves empowering her patients by providing genuine care and education with the utmost attention to detail.
Since graduation Madison has been practicing nursing while falling in love with Nashville, TN. In her spare time she enjoys various outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and fishing. She and her husband have two dogs adopted from Nashville Humane and hope to continue growing their family soon.
Victoria Wilcox, Patient Care Coordinator
Victoria is Dr. Amaka’s patient care coordinator. She is a Nashville native who studied at The Volunteer State Community College, where she got her associates degree in Business Marketing. Victoria began her career in plastic surgery over 4 years ago, and she has worked with Dr. Amaka as her patient care coordinator for 2 years. She absolutely loves educating patients throughout every step of their aesthetic journey and aims for a seamless experience from beginning to end for all patients. She cherishes being part of each patient’s unique and exciting journey to being the best version of themselves.
Victoria enjoys working out, traveling to new cities, getting lost in a romance novel, and volunteering with a local west Nashville nonprofit, the Aloe Family. She cherishes her family and friends. She’s also a proud dog mom to an English Bulldog named Tank!
Lisa Cheek, Clinical Specialist
Lisa Cheek is a clinical specialist at Amaka Aesthetics. She got her associates of science in nursing in 2009 at Ivy Tech Community College. Her clinical experience actually began in Dermatology where she was for over 16 years. She began in plastic surgery in 2018 where she has been ever since. Lisa has worked with Dr. Amaka for over 3 years, and her focus is true concierge and personalized post-op care for patients who have surgery with Dr. Amaka.
Lisa does home/hotel visits to help guide patients and their families after surgery, and she ensures you always have the support you need during your surgery recovery.
Lisa has a passion for patient care and education and has a caring, personal touch that patients appreciate and need during that vulnerable post-operative period. One of her favorite aspects of her job is learning about patients’ stories and watching their life-changing transformations.
Lisa was born and raised in Kokomo, Indiana and has lived in Nashville for over 10 years! In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, kayaking, traveling and anything outdoors, as well as spending time with her husband, dog (Baxter), as well as friends and family.
Cassidi Jackel, Front Desk Coordinator
Cassidi is our front desk coordinator and social media coordinator at Amaka Aesthetics. Calling Nashville home for the past 8 years, Cass is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Journalism. She is originally from Knoxville and is a Tennessee girl at heart, but grew up on the beautiful beaches in Destin, FL. She loves meeting new people and establishing meaningful connections. She is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for our patients from start to finish!
Beyond her professional endeavors, Cass loves to travel, finding joy in exploring new destinations. When not crafting engaging content or coordinating at the front desk, she can be found indulging in her love for fashion through shopping sprees, venturing into the outdoors, or cherishing moments with her husband, Nick, and their adorable dog, Alla Bear.
Valencia Winford, Registered Nurse
Valencia Winford is a registered nurse at Amaka Aesthetics who works in both the operating room and clinic. Valencia, a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN), is not just a healthcare professional; she is a passionate advocate for compassionate patient care. Hailing from the vibrant city of Chicago and nurtured in the heart of Nashville, Valencia’s journey in nursing has been marked by unwavering commitment and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.
Armed with a nursing degree from Cumberland University, Valencia has accumulated six years of rich and diverse experience in the field. What sets her apart is not just the number of years on her resume, but the fervor with which she approaches her work. For the past four years, she has embraced the challenges and rewards of travel nursing, bringing her healing touch to healthcare facilities across the nation.
She has worked in a variety of specialties: Cardiac progressive unit, Trauma Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Medical- Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Transplant Intensive Care Unit, Neurological Intensive Care Unit, and Burn Intensive Care Unit.
In her current role at Amaka Aesthetics, Valencia plays a pivotal role. Known for her altruism, empathetic approach, and attention to detail, Valencia ensures that each patient not only receives the best medical care but also experiences a genuine connection during their healthcare journey. She embodies uplifting, warm, and vibrant energy to welcome her patients and provide comfort.
In Valencia’s free time, she loves spending time with her two fur babies, Queenie (toy yorkie poo) and Armani (toy poodle). She also enjoys working out, dancing, yoga, pilates, and reading. Her absolute favorite thing to do is to travel, she loves traveling to see the world.
Gentry Brown, Registered Nurse
Gentry is a registered nurse who you will see working in the operating room at Amaka Aesthetics. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in 2017. She began her career working in the operating room and has since been a circulator in different specialties including cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, and plastics. Patients can experience many emotions going into surgery, and it is important to her to ensure that they are in great hands throughout their journey. Gentry finds it so rewarding to be part of a team that strives to provide patients with the best possible experience and Care.
Gentry moved to Nashville from Kansas City in 2019 and it has now become home! She loves exploring the city with her fiancé and finding local gems (especially coffee shops!). In her free time, she also likes to travel, hike, and spend time with friends and family.
Emma Greene, Registered Nurse
Emma Greene is a Registered Nurse at Amaka Aesthetics. Emma is a Nashville native who has been practicing nursing for 16 years. In that time, she has worked on a Medical Surgical/Pulmonary Unit, in the Operating Room, and academia as an Assistant Professor. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky University, and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University.
Her dedication to excellence led her to become credentialed as a Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR), the only accredited certification for perioperative registered nurses. Emma loves all things surgery and education, going above and beyond to ensure patients receive mental, emotional, physical, and intellectual care.
From a young age, Emma knew she would one day be a nurse. She was inspired to follow in her mother’s footsteps and often played the role of caregiver to her family and friends. Since passing her licensing exam, she has cared for hundreds of patients. Each one holds a special place in her heart. She sees every person as a unique individual and strives to meet their distinct needs.
In her time off, Emma enjoys reading, thrifting, spending time with her two children, hiking with her family, and cooking. She shares her home with her three dogs, Stella, Buckey and Rosie, and two cats, Willow and Kit.
Adaira Pizzino, Certified Scrub Technologist
Adaira Pizzino is a certified scrub technologist (CST) with 3 years of experience in the OR. Adaira assists Dr. Amaka in surgeries, and you will see her in the operating room and the clinic. She has a warm heart and a passion for hard work and dedication. She followed in her father’s footsteps who is also a CST.
In her free time, she likes to paint, play the ukulele, and spend time with her family and her dog Bahgiera.
